Nice place to charge your boosted and grab a drink
Excellent local no frills bar with solid food. What more do you want?
The outdoor seating is nice, friendly staff.
Nice little outdoor seating area out front to enjoy a drink (good social distancing!). Not too expensive or crowded. Our waitress was really nice, too.
MoreGood food. Limited on beer ales and drinks
Great spot to grab a good night snack, after a long day of drinking
Cool vibe. Don't typically enjoy that neighborhood but liked this place.. Would go back.
MoreMy favorite spot in old Town. Great service, food, and drinks.
Great local spot to pop in for a drink
Great place. Loved their trivia night.
Love this bar! We come here every year and the staff, drinks and food are amazing!
MoreA staple of wells st for a long time. A nice neighborhood place . Its not as expensive as some other newer wells places. Food is good . Good happy hour.
MoreThere's just something about that sauce...!
They serve beer in a glass, and not much more. It's a nice option if you're trying to find something low key in Old Town.
More4$ pbrs, and 5$ pizza...hard to find good prices in old town.
Great place to watch any and all games. The service is always speedy, prices are fair and their weekly specials are amazing
MoreFriendly service
Decent bar food, great chicken pot pie. Cold beer perfect place in the neighborhood.
MoreGreat little patio spot! Amazing service.
Love this place! I dont think i have ever been in here and had a bad time.
local dive bar in old Town. decent food, good service. steady stream of regulars that live nearby.
MoreThe penne pasta is phenomenal!! Great atmosphere.
Good food, service, and drinks. Have the green tea shot! Tastes like green tea, but it's booze.
MoreFood was just okay, but definitely could be cleaner during these times
Living on Wells street, I'm always looking to get away from the douchery that Benchmark and Old Town Pour House attract at night on the weekends (don't get me wrong, I love those places during the week and during the day on the weekends). I've found solace in Old Town Pub - my neighborhood dive bar! Decent prices, I don't hate the food and we can always find a seat. While the service can be below par, anything is better than relentlessly getting spilled on by a bunch of bros while I push my way the bar only to wait 20 minutes before you can even get the bartenders attention at other Old Town establishments!
MorePlace to hang out, have some beers and try some odd pizza in a good way.
Great little hole in the wall to grab a drink at if you're in the area. A good friend has a condo near here and we love popping in for a shot and a beer, or several shots and beers. Always great service and friendly staff.
MoreGave me molded bread for my mini burgers. Didnt make a BIG deal about it as I should of. Server took the food & told me the kitchen would remake it but I kindly declined it. She comp'd it off the bill but then it was attitude after that. Charged us for the rest off our items. I work in the industry & my place definitely would of comp'd the whole $24.43 cents bill with no prob. Customer service & hospitality isn't number 1 for every establishment I see.Thank God me or my friends didnt get sick off the food we did eat or beer we drank!
MoreNice quiet place and the burger with fries was very good. Initially my niece and I went to Small Cheval which is close by. Line for food was long so we dropped in to Old Town Pub and am happy we did. Comparable burger but better fries and less expensive than Small Cheval.
MoreGreat service
Lots of good restaurants and bars in this section of Chicago
Here is what I will say - I really enjoy the pizza, and they have Green Line beer, so that is always nice. In the end, though, it is really not a GREAT place. In the summer, they have some outdoor seating, which is nice. What really brings them down is their drinks and their service. I recommend you get the beer (a very small variety on draft) or wine (again, only two options) because they are super skimpy on their mixed drinks. A friend asked for wine to replace her mixed drink, and without prompting the waiter said he saw the bartender put a lot of liquor in it, and that she should just 'slam it.' Friend didn't bring up the weak pour, so it is clear they understand it is an issue, and instead of addressing it they are just encouraging people to chug their drinks so they don't need to comp them.
MoreGreat place to have last drink on Valentine's Day. ❤
Cheap drinks good food cool bar! Took my Dad to Old town because he used to hangout there 55 years ago
MoreStopped by for dinner one night. The BLAST sandwich was awesome, and I love how you can get tater tots as a side. The beer menu leaves a bit to be desired for beer enthusiasts and is a bit pricey (but so is the rest of the booze in Old Town so I can't knock it), however, the staff is super friendly! All in all, highly recommend if you want a quick bite and a basic beer. No complaints :-)
MoreUsed to live across the street from OTP and go there for bar food all the time. The pizza is great and salad and sandwiches are pretty good as well. Really affordable and convenient
MoreWas once my favorite Sunday hangout spot, but that was because of the staff. With that bartender now gone, so are the regular patrons and I very quickly remembered that this place is a disgusting hole. The only charm is the people who work there, without them the place wouldn't be in business.
MoreWhile we were satisfied with our food, our service was very disappointing. Our waitress was not only rude, but made little effort to answer our questions or be of any help!
MoreAwesome spot to drink. Good food, fun people.
Typical small dive bar. Cheap drinks and nice staff.
The food was good and the service outstanding! It was pretty slow the day we ate there, but the staff was friendly and helpful. I would be happy to go back next time we are in town.
MorePretty good burger but very good chili and the slaw is much better than most. It is decent priced and a comfortable place to eat. I like to sit and read and they were fine with that.
MoreBest pizza in old town by far! Forget the deep dish, this place is solid thin crust NYC style pizza that is always reliable and delicious!
MoreNice atmosphere dont use the atm to withdraw money . The credit card slot is working the owner has just written it's not working so you withdraw cash to use the jukebox
MoreGreat place serving good pub food with an even better staff!
Most see bar in old Town
Good little place for a cheap pint, drink, and delicious, but equally cheap bar food. Pizza, burgers, and mac and cheese are all wonderful. Unless you want to overpay for beer and a cover like the places surrounding it check this place out! Seems like it would be a good place to watch the game if that's your thing.
MoreThe kinda bar that makes you feel like a regular even when it's your first time. Stop in once and i guarantee it won't be your only time
MoreGreat food- specifically had the cheesesteak special but also tried the burger with goat cheese and it was absolutely incredible. Really fair prices, too. We will be coming back.
MoreSuper nice servers. Wide range of items on the menu at a very good price. Quality of the food is honestly fantastic, especially when you consider that it's a bar. Really great food, have tried a variety of menu items and appetizers and all of it has been great!! Seriously can't say enough good things about their food! Also, awesome decorations for the holidays. Love coming here! Have never had a bad experience.Items I've tried and can vouch for superb quality:Philly cheesesteakChicken pot pieBurgersCalzoneWraps
